not everyone can be a designer

the first thing my graphic design 1 professor told us was:

you may think that the devil is in the details, but in fact it is design that is in the details.  the amount of attention you give to the details of your design defines your work.

i always remember that when i am moving an image back and forth a difference of 1/12th of an inch in my work.

    Tell me about it! YES, those details! Hah! *tired sigh*
    It’s so meticulous, troublesome, irritating … but I don’t know why it still makes all the difference!

    I should have heard this advice earlier on. I probably would have been more encouraged to take up the design course at my school, rather than in the end lazily picked up the IT course – which I’m not practising anymore ‘cos what they taught is now becoming obsolete -_-

    well, i am sure that paying attention to details is important in every field. as Rasulullah (sall Allah alaihi wa sallam) said, “Verily Allah has commanded perfection in everything.”
